Speaker 1: How do you tell the story of your product?
Speaker 2: Like this is an excellent question, the best way for me to tell the story of a product, especially if it's a platform, is to tell the story of your customers. And like to use a very simple framework when I'm telling stories. Generally, I think about this as what is the before situation? What are the negative consequences of being in that situation? What is the after scenario, after situation once I've introduced my product or platform? And what is the positive outcome from using my product? And then at the end of the day, if there are any sort of capabilities that are required, or any metrics to prove success, then I'll add that to the mix. But generally, for pretty much any story, I would like to think about this framework. It's a common framework. So it's not as if this is something that's proprietary that I've invented, it's a framework that a lot of organizations use. So I'd like to tell a story, you asked about telling a story for product, and I would like to demonstrate using this framework. So for example, I bought a new acoustic drum kit, before using this drum kit, I was using an older electronic drum kit, but I did not like my old electronic drum kit, because it didn't give me that visceral thump, thump feedback that you get from playing a drum. And because of that, the consequence was that I rarely practiced and I never got better at playing drums in spite of having a drum kit sit in my home for last year, year and a half. So one day, with my wife's permission of course, I got an acoustic drum kit, and I wanted a kit that was loud enough, but not too loud so that I don't wake up the neighbors. So this one that I got has a range of 90 to 120 decibel, which is great when you're playing in the middle of the day. And I love how this drum set gives me sort of instant feedback, both physically as I'm playing them, but also vibrationally so that I really get into the music that I'm playing. And so now, I practice whenever I have 10 minutes free, I'll just jump on it and play a little riff or practice something. And then, this drum kit has really helped me ace Uptown Funk. I don't know if you know the song from Bruno Mars. I played it at a recent gig and I felt great playing it. So that's my little story about a product that if I was a drum seller, I would put to use.
